Twilight Movie

As many of you have heard, the movie, Twilight is coming out a month earlier than expected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    The movie is now supposed to be coming out November 21st, 2008.  Three months from Thursday! we are planning to have a midnight party so keep your dates open

Hey Edward lovers- I have some news that I didn’t know about until a few minutes ago.  Stephenie Meyer has another website, but it is all about the Twilight series called www.thetwilightsaga.com, where they have a poll you can take that has to do with Breaking Dawn! Should Bella tell her dad that Edward is a vampire, or not?!?!?!?!  Vote at the website to see the results!

Here is the story that some of the members of the OECA and I wrote, but we didn’t use our real names.  Enjoy, and please comment if you like it or not!

          The light reflected from the doorway blinded Mary and I as he walked in.  He just happened to be the amazing Edward Cullen, in the flesh! We squealed in fan-girl excitement as he approached the glossy counter, with speckles of black and white scattered across.

          He said in the most charming voice imaginable, “Good day.  I need to… return a car.” Mary and I exchanged glances but immediately turned our attention back to the vampire. 

          “Well, that’s dandy!” Iyanna exclaimed.  Dandy?! What’s wrong with me?! She looked so embarrassed, so Mary jumped to her rescue. 

          “What can we help you with, sir?” He looked both ways, as if making sure that no one was listening in the office.

          “Well… I don’t really know how to say this, but,” He cleared his throat, “someone ‘took care’ of it.  It’s almost destroyed, so….”

          Mary interrupted him with, “It was that nasty Jacob beating up your car wasn’t it!?” She inquired. 

          Edward scowled. “What do you mean by that? Have you been stalking me?” Iyanna and Mary cracked right then and there, laughing like idiots. 

          “Of course!” Iyanna blurted out.

          “You’re hot!” Mary exclaimed.  The girls giggled as Edward mumbled to himself.

          “I need a new car, not a new girlfriend ladies!” They straightened up and tried to be serious in front of their majestic customer.  He grinned.

          “Alright… so let me see, that dog boy scratched up your car, and you’re here for something new?” Iyanna questioned.

          “Scratched in an understatement.” He pointed behind his shoulder at what looked like a once shiny silver Volvo.

          Just at that moment, his ‘brother’ Emment burst through the door.

          “Why are you shopping here? They’re not one of us, Edward!”  Just two seconds later, his ‘sister’ Alice swiftly danced her way to the counter.

          “I knew that you would be coming here, and I saw you buy a yellow Porsche!  You might want to buy a different color though, so that we don’t get confused between mine and yours.” Alice recommended. 

          “Please excuse my siblings for their discourteous interruption.  Where were we again?” Edward turned his hear back to us, revealing his dazzling half smile.  “Buy the way, I wasn’t going to buy a yellow Porsche.  I was planning on something more superior.”

          Alice said with a confused tone, “Then what were you thinking of getting?” As Edward was about to reply, Jacob came storming through the doors, followed by two upset fanatics, with a pen and paper at hand.

          “When I ran into your can, or what’s left of it, I expected you to go to your own dealership, Edward’s Efficient Automotives.  Sorry about your Volvo by the way.  I was surprised when you bloodsucker wasn’t there, but now I know why you came here. The girls at the other place wouldn’t stop bothering me with their pens and paper, pleading for an autograph.” Jacob told him with annoyance in his voice. 

          “We’re still here you know,” Elizabeth informed him.

          Edward simply rolled his eyes. “You’ll get used to it, dog.”

Breaking Dawn Tour 2008

I have news – Stephenie Meyer will be touring this summer in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle.  Blue October will also be touring with her because they are doing the music for the new and upcoming movie, and will have a concert in each city.  Here is a link to learn about ‘Twilight Tuesday’ and her touring this summer.
